Thursday's Wine: August Kessler Riesling Kabinett Trocken 2006

I got the idea for this wine thanks to our good friends over at The DC Ladies. They posted a delicious recipe for Light and Fresh Shrimp Scampi.

This Riesling is light with apple and citrus flavors. Also pairs well with chicken, salmon and believe it or not Asian food!

Thursday's Wine: Juliusturm Dornfelder Lieblich

This red wine is dark-colored, soft and offers a slight sweetness. It has hints of chocolate and is considered among Germany’s best red wines. 

Reasonably priced from $13.00-$17.00
